A healthy workstation is ergonomically correct. Ergonomics is about creating a safe work environment that maximizes workstation comfort and minimizes health risks.

WVU Environmental Health & Safety offers ergonomic assessments to WVU employees. A trained ergonomy professional will come to your workstation to provide recommendations and to help you implement cost-effective solutions.

Who should consider a workstation assessment?

  • Any employee who is concerned about workstation comfort and safety. 
  • Any manager/supervisor interested in helping their employees be more comfortable/productive at work. 
  • Any manager/supervisor who is considering the purchase of new office furniture or equipment.
